Dreaming is great - but once you've set your dreams and your goals,
you need to go to work. According to legend, God created the world in
six days and rested on the seventh - and that's a good plan.
Take
a look at your goals and think about what action you could take
tomorrow that will start you on your journey. Often the first step is
the hardest but, once you've made it, you find it easier to keep going.
Beware
the dream stealers too - plenty of people will tell you that what
you're doing is risky. They mean to protect you, but often they have
no experience when they're giving you advice. Some people will tell
you you're mad - those same people will call you 'lucky' when you
succeed.
We have personal experience of this which may help...
when we started our network marketing company, many of our friends
thought we had lost our minds. They didn't understand it and they
judged us by their own standards and knowledge, not by our standards.
We lost some of our friends, but we've found new friends whose values
and ideas match ours. This is much more rewarding in the long term,
but can be really painful in the short-term. We had to learn not to
let people hold us back from our dream of financial freedom - and you
will need to do the same.
"The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it"
Chinese Proverb

A dream is just a wish, until you put a date on it.
Ask
yourself how long you spend planning your family holiday. For many
people it can be a number of days, searching for places to go, speaking
to travel agents, making the arrangements, booking the aiport parking,
booking the pets into kennels, organising a hire car etc.
Now, ask yourself how long you spend planning the other 50 weeks of the year?
Business
philosopher, Jim Rohn, finds it difficult to believe the vast majority
of us spend longer planning our two week escape, than we do planning
our life. If we can turn that plan on it's head, chances are the
remaining 50 weeks will start to improve and maybe you won't need two
weeks to escape?

Well done for getting this far - you're either seriously considering
starting a business, or you just have. Seeking advice can be really
worthwhile and helped us tremendously in our first year in business.
It's
a brave step you've taken - starting out on your own is nerve-wracking
and it's definitely not the easiest route to take. But it is often the
most rewarding. If you play your cards right, your own business can
buy you time, freedom and control back over your life - you decide when
you work and when you spend time with your family. You also control
your own destiny, which is incredibly exciting.

It was years after thinking about starting a company that I
actually took the plunge – and what was stopping me was a lack of
ideas. What I failed to realise was that there were ideas all around
me – you don’t have to find something new. In fact, there are very few
‘new’ ideas. What you need to do is find a way of solving a problem
people have, or find a better way of delivering a popular service.
